They may sell a magazine or book they can interest you or you may want to get more information on or about. Traveling sales crews are a group of younger kids who go door to door promoting and selling a variety of books and magazines.

Sales crews do not travel alone, as you can tell by the word crew there is more then one person doing this. There are always two or more kids at a door when giving information or selling, as well as an adult superior to make sure things are going smooth and keeping the crews safe. These traveling sales crews benefit people all over the world.

Not only can you buy for you self, but you can buy for family or friends. You also have the option to have the book or magazine you purchased forwarded to another address or place. They can be sent to children’s hospitals as well, or even a work place. Traveling sales crews can really benefit any one who likes to read or who may know some one that enjoys reading. Also for children there is a wide variety of books. They range from picture books to learning books and so on.

While on a traveling sales crew, you will have the opportunity to share your experiences with others.  You can encourage them, mentor them and provide tips for those just starting out in the industry.  By sharing your experiences, you will be able to equip them to pass along the same information to others in the future.

Traveling sales crews are looked down on now days because of the violence, dishonesty, and danger. People don’t realize what happens to a lot of teens from traveling door to door with strangers, who offer them good pay and a roof over their heads. As a teen, you would think being a part of a traveling sales crew would be adventurous and a fast easy way to make money. What teenager wouldn’t want to travel across the United States and to get paid for it, while learning real life experiences?!

Traveling Sales Crews are just trying to make a living

Traveling sales crews aren’t always bad or looked down upon. They also are real people who are just trying to a makes little more cash for school or for their kids or just to have that extra cash. I understand that people don’t always want to be bothered by the traveling sales crews because of the rude things that were said in the past. Also because door to door sales men and women don’t know when to tone it down or don’t know when to not be pushy.

Traveling sales crews are really neat because you get to travel all over the United States, and see all the different landmarks and cities. I wouldn’t mind being with the traveling sales crews.  I think that it would be a really cool experience and could personally benefit a lot.

Not all door to door sales crews are scammers either. With our company we have multiple traveling sales crews who do a good job by selling our books to help our company gain money. The National Field Selling Association (NFSA) provides the structure necessary to keep door to door sales companies honest and ethical.  The only thing is that the traveling sales crews need to not get lazy with their sales and lie with fake names and addresses. Traveling sales crews are very hard working people who should be given a chance and not have a door slammed in their face. All they are trying to do is earn money just like any other person but with their sales skills. And honestly I would rather buy a magazine from a salesman than from the store for way more than it really is worth.
